Aminata is a beautiful estate with two B&B rooms and three gîtes. This butterfly paradise, surrounded by nature, is situated at the junction of the Lot, Lot-et-Garonne and Dordogne departments. It is the perfect base for exploring countless picturesque medieval villages and towns.
A house full of character
Our ‘pigeonnier’, or dovecote, immediately catches the eye. This centuries-old tower stands proudly beside the ‘maison en pierre’ – the characterful house built from the region’s typical limestone. During the renovation of our gîtes, this authentic atmosphere has been preserved, whilst incorporating modern comforts. The bedrooms in the Ami and Lot gîtes are equipped with air conditioning for an even better night’s sleep.

You can also relax with a good book, a cup of coffee or tea, or a lovely glass of wine. For the children, there are all sorts of games and play equipment to ensure they have an unforgettable time.

Our rooms and gîtes are fitted with comfortable beds that we have carefully selected. We realise all too well just how important a good night’s sleep is.
Rooms
At Aminata, we have two B&B rooms in the main house, furnished in a style befitting the property. For instance, the Pigeonnier room not only has an en-suite bathroom in natural stone, complete with a rain shower, but also features its own relaxation area in the dovecote. The Pigeonnier room (dovecote) and the Blue Room are both suitable for one or two people.
Gîtes
The gîtes offer ample living space and are equipped with fully fitted kitchens. All gîtes have new bathrooms, finished in natural stone and fitted with delightful rain showers. Nata: max. 4 people; private garden. Ami: max. 4–6 people; raised wooden terrace with stunning views of the valley. Lot: max. 5 people; detached from the main house for complete privacy.
Groups are welcome, even when combining gîtes and rooms. - 02. From 0–99 years
- At Aminata, all ages are welcome, young and old alike. During the summer holidays, we mostly host families with children. In the early and late seasons, the peaceful atmosphere here particularly attracts couples or groups of friends without children.
- 03. Swimming pool
- Comfortable sun loungers are provided by our spacious, heated swimming pool, measuring 5.5 by 12 metres, so you can drift off into a blissful nap. There are also plenty of parasols available, and a separate lounge area has been provided. Our swimming pool is open and heated from early in the season right through to late in the season.
