We rent out our gîtes during the high season (July–August) from Saturday to Saturday.
Outside the high season, we may make exceptions to this, with a minimum stay of 3 nights and no maximum.
Groups are welcome, with a maximum of 17 people.

From early April to late June, Aminata is absolutely beautiful and, above all, wonderfully peaceful. Our butterfly paradise is situated in the rural village of Pontcirq, surrounded by stunning countryside with a mix of meadows and woods.

Aminata covers one hectare and 250 are and is situated at an altitude of 176 metres. This means we can enjoy a wonderful view and often hear … absolutely nothing. Apart from the numerous birds, of course, and it is not uncommon to spot deer and roe deer alongside the many butterflies.

At this time of year, there’s always a local market, a vide-grenier (flea market or car boot sale) or a wine tasting somewhere, and there are plenty of castles and picturesque villages to visit.

Aminata is situated at the junction of the Lot, Lot-et-Garonne and Dordogne departments, meaning there are so many places of interest nearby; just think of Saint-Circ-Lapopie, Rocamadour, various caves, beautiful gardens, castles … (You can find more information on this in the ‘Practical Information’ section, under ‘Where to go?’).

Of course, you can also go geocaching, walking or cycling, or simply relax. Sun loungers are available around the heated swimming pool, and there are plenty of shaded spots. Fancy a game of darts, badminton, kubb or pétanque on the specially designated court? It’s all possible – everything is ready and waiting for you.

We’d be delighted to help you choose from the many sights and possible excursions by providing you with our handy guides packed full of information. We’ve also purchased folders containing walking and cycling routes at all levels of difficulty.

All three of our gîtes are equipped with very comfortable kitchens, but for those who prefer to sit down to a meal rather than do the washing-up every day, we can cook for you on request. You can also order breakfast from us. There are also several restaurants in the neighbourhood, and we’d be happy to help you make a booking. There’s even a well-known Michelin-starred restaurant nearby (Le Gindreau in Saint-Médard).

During this period, we offer the option to arrive and depart on a day of your choice, with a minimum stay of 4 nights for the gîtes and 3 nights for the rooms.
